This page describes the changes made to the gene set collections for Release 6.1 of the Molecular Signatures Database (MSigDB).

Updates to C2:CGP - curated gene sets

We added 7 new gene sets from the literature:

  • 4 sets from Fischer et al. (2016, Nucleic Acids Research)
  • 3 sets from Grader et al. (2017, Cancer Discovery)

Corrections to C3 - motif gene sets

In MSigDB 6.0 we updated the names of the motif gene sets. Unfortunately, there were errors in some of the name changes. This has now been fixed.
The mapping between the corrected v6.1 names and erroneous v6.0 names can be found here.
