This page describes the changes made to the gene set collections for Release 6.1 of the Molecular Signatures Database (MSigDB).

Updates to C2:CGP - curated gene sets

We added 7 new gene sets from the literature:

4 sets from Fischer et al. (2016, Nucleic Acids Research)

3 sets from Grader et al. (2017, Cancer Discovery)

Changes to C3 - motif gene sets

In MSigDB 6.0 we updated the names of the motif gene sets. Unfortunately, there were errors in some of the name changes. This has now been fixed.
