The fastest and most reliable way to get answers to any question you may have is to post it in the FireCloud Forum. We aim to respond to all queries within one business day. The forum is actively monitored by our support team; if needed they will loop in members of the engineering team to help address any technical issue that presents itself. Be sure to turn on notifications to receive an email when we have answered your question (see instructions further below).
That being said, we do ask that before you post your question, you try to read through the User Guide and search the forum in case your question is covered by existing documentation or has been asked and answered previously. This can save you time, and it helps us prioritize our efforts to addressing the most critical needs of the user community.
Note that we also run training workshops; check out our Events Calendar for upcoming dates.
By default, the forum does not send notification messages about new comments or discussions. If you want to turn on notifications or customize the type of notifications you want to receive (email, popup message etc), you need to do the following:
Go to your profile page by clicking on your username in the white box at the top left corner, underneath the blue path box;
Click on the button with a silhouette of a person at the top right corner and select "Edit Profile" in the drop-down menu;
In the menu on the left, click on "Notification Preferences";
Select the categories that you want to follow and the type of notification you want to receive; For example, to specifically get new FireCloud announcements, scroll down to "Category Notifications" and tick off the "FireCloud Announcements" category for email notification for discussions (and comments if you really want to know everything).
